Another fun command you can use in command prompt would be ipconfig this command tells you your ip information and your internet information. Useful and lots of fun, and a very cool command!
Another really fun and useful command is tracert, tracert can be used to trace peoples ip address down to the exact location of there computer, you can use it to scare your friends, or just to show what a cool hacker you are. So how you use this command is like this. tracert [ip of your friend] so it will look a little something like this tracert 184.28.636.23. these are just some of the many fun little commands you can do for fun or for pranks. If you are wondering how you can get a hold of someones ip adress, i will tell you right now. Mind you this guide is for educational purposes, if you use this for illegal uses, i am not to blame. So what you do is you open up task manager, go to resource monitor, and click on network activity, one of the easy ways you can use this is through skype, if you send a few messages to the person through skype there ip will send packets back to you and there fore be in network activity telling you which ip is sending you the most packets, of course it has to be from Skype. Not saying that isthe only way to do it, you can also send a few messages from steam, but you got a bit of interference that way a bit harder.
Another way to get a hold of someones ip address is tracer links, if you send them a link that traces there ip, a useful web sight that does this for you, if you do not know how to do it, would be whatstheirip.com, this web sight helps a whole lot. What you do is put in your email, it will send you a notification and some links to send to your friends. Once one of your friends clicks on one of the links, it will email you there ip! This method is called BeEF, which is an exploit on your browser, lots of fun to use, also for all of you who think this is illegal, well guess what, its not! Your ip and your location is public information, so no harm done!
I hope you enjoyed this little guide, and maybe i did teach you some things! Well i sure hope i did!
