Counter Strike Go Tips and Tricks

Source: https://csgotricks.wordpress.com/2014/10/06/csgo-tricks-calls/
I have recently noticed on counter-strike global offensive a lot of players, low rank and high rank making critical mistakes with how they play. One of the main thing i notice a lot, especially in the lower ranks is bad cross-hair placement, you might be wondering, what is good cross-hair placement, and what even is cross-hair placement? Well, your cross-hair placement is where your cross-hairs are for most of while your playing, weather its aimed at the chest, the leg, the ground or the head, basically you want to have your cross-hair in one place at almost all times, and this place is head level, in counter-strike head shots do an immense amount more damage then a leg shot or anywhere else on the body. For example if you where to get a head shot with an AK-47 you would only need one shot to secure your kill, otherwise you might need 3 to 4 shots to secure your kill. The M4s both m4a1 and m4a4 both need 2 head shots or in most cases, 1 head shot and 1 body shot, or just 4 to 5 body shots.  So basically my point is, you are always going to wan't to go for the head. So you want to have your cross-hair at the same level a head would be, a good way to practice getting your head shots is on a death match server with an AK-47.

Another thing i have noticed a lot of people are doing wrong is reload timing. In counter-strike timing is everything, like when you peek, when you defuse while trying to ninja, when you throw a grenade and in this case reloading. I have noticed a bunch of people reloading after nearly each kill, or each engagement. This is not what you wan't to be doing. The reason for this, is you might reload at the wrong time and get killed for it, you do not need to reload if your weapon has half or more then half of its ammunition left. There are acceptations, if you know you are safe then you should reload. But you need to remember this is a tactical shooter, not call of duty where you reload after every kill. Most of the time that will get you killed if you are playing against some what smart players. A matter of fact you can even here when someone is reloading, and even do a fake reload! Those are things i will get into later on but you get the point.

The last things i wanted to talk about on this post is using a high quality headset and having and being active but not to active on your microphone. Most games i play by myself on my main account which is currently ranked legendary eagle master, their will be  1 to 2 people with no microphones, and its ever worse on my lower ranked alternate account which is master guardian 2. The reason this is a problem is because it restricts communication between your team. You will be able to say that someone is going somewhere quicker then you can type it. Sometimes the players will not pay attention to chat to, because they are concentrating on the game. When playing counter-strike competitively you will need, this is an absolute must have, a microphone and a decent headset so you can listen to footsteps and anything else happening in the game.
